You will interrogate the literature and discuss how these two key concepts have been understood and conceptualised over the years. -an examination of a specific educational organisation which is facing challenging circumstances. Student will choose an educational organisation that is facing challenging circumstances (see further information below). -Must use Hallinger’s 2018 Framework -using Hallinger’s 2018 framework, you will identify the contextual factors that seem to be impacting their chosen organisation and discuss the possible effects the factors have on the organisation, leadership, and/or learning and teaching. The contexts Halinger (2018) identifes are your subheadings Instutational context -Community context -National cultural context -Economic Context -Political context -School I mrovement context You don’t need to discuss every context. Your discussion of the different contextual is influenced by: your analysis of context and challenging circumstances and your school/early childhood centre snapshot. Task information: familiar with or particular type of school (rural, remote school or school with high needs). In all cases the chosen organisation must be facing ‘challenging‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ circumstances’ as defined by the literature. Please contact the UC for advice as needed.
